Our number one priority is your safety and peace-of-mind, as well as the safety of our employees and independent contractors.  We have moved over 90% of our staff company-wide to a work-from-home environment, and we were able to accomplish this without interrupting service.  We are completely operational and all staff are working our normal business hours to ensure that our service levels to our valued clients remain unchanged, regardless of whether your travel is immediate or in the future, we are here for you.

Information for travelers

We fully understand the stress travelers may feel about cancellations, changes, refunds and future travel plans.  We are using our close connections and all possible resources to address each situation as it unfolds.  This includes:

  • Continual monitoring of information from authorities including the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the US State Department.
  • Generating departure reports for our travel advisors to assist them proactively with recommendations, changes, cancellations, refunds and re-accommodations.
  • Monitoring daily updates from our partners at BCD, Signature Travel Network, Airlines, Cruises, Tour Companies and Ground Operators around the world to ensure we have the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the current travel situation.
  • TravelStore's Leadership Team is working together with our travel partners to advocate for maximum flexibility where cancellations and/or penalties are an issue to ensure our clients have the best possible outcome.

Many countries have specific entry requirements for travel, we are continually monitoring these and proactively reaching out affected travelers when possible however a central list of each countries requirements is available from our partner, International SOS.

Many travel vendors have created more flexible travel for destinations where significant spread of the virus have been reported. These flexible policies may allow for the waiving of fees for changes or cancelation of travel, of course this would be subject to specific terms and conditions. We encourage our travelers to contact us with any questions, or to check the specific vendors website to determine potential impacts to their travel. These flexible polices are typically fluid to accommodate the ever-changing conditions or developments.  In cases where a vendor has not updated their polices or if the change to the booking is outside of the requirements, then the original terms and conditions of the booking will apply, including applicable change or cancelation fees.

Your TravelStore team is monumentally grateful for your loyalty, support and understanding as we assist our clients in this continually changing environment.  We are saddened by both the effect on those directly touched by this virus as well as the unprecedented impact it has had on travel.

We share your passion, whether to explore our wonderful world or the value of doing business face-to-face, and remain hopeful that this situation will resolve itself quickly so that we can all continue our adventures around the world. Until then, we remain committed to supporting our clients and are here to assist with whatever you may need.
